CHANGE

One of the reasons long-term, sustainable change is hard to make is because of the myths we believe about it.

MYTH 1

EDUCATION CHANGES BEHAVIOUR

Having the facts is an important factor to facilitate change, but knowing is not enough.

If it was enough, then wouldn't we all be fit, manage our stress, and do all the other things that we know are good for us?

MYTH 2

FINDING QUICK SOLUTION

$2 trillion (estimated market) for products that promote anti-aging, weightloss & self-improvement.

Instant fixes aren't sustainable over time. The key is finding methods that work in everyday life with all its ups and downs.

MYTH 3

MOTIVATION & WILLPOWER

Willpower (commitment) is only 1 of the 9 processes used to change behaviour.

"The Willpower Trap," is the faulty assumption that you fail because you lack willpower or motivation.

We apply the "six sources of influence" model to increase the probability of sustainable change.

8:53

That is because Allah would not change a favor which He had bestowed upon a people until they change what is within themselves.

And indeed, Allah is Hearing and Knowing.
